Walking down a kind of corridor with my dad. It's natural - made of clay or stone, carved into the side of a mountain. I'm rolling a bike along as we walk. The left side is open, and we can see out. We're pretty high up. There's an elevator at the end, and we get in to go to the top. Better view up there. I'm holding my bike vertically, balanced on its back wheel, and tell him to close the doors, but there are other people out there. Two large women come in and stand in the front. The doors close, and we start heading up, but all of a sudden we stop, and start plummeting downwards. We're in full free-fall, and I'm scared. No breaks on the elevator. My bike is gone, and I remember the best thing to do is lie flat on the floor, face down, with my head on my arms. We continue dropping, but we're leveling off. The elevator tube is curved down, with a runaway part, so we don't crash. We come out at the bottom, and then we're walking into the entrance. There are many people in line, waiting to go up. I go up to the front, and start shouting at the staff. They offer my money back, and I'm pissed.

In a store, with some friends. G. is working there, but she's going for lunch. She takes off. We hang out for a bit, and then leave. Sunny day, on a town street. We're walking, and she gets out of her car and is coming from the other direction. I'm walking behind two friends, and I kind of lean on their backs because I love her so much and she will never be mine. She looks sad, and as we pass, I pat her on the back, and say things will be ok.

I cross in the middle of the street, which has no traffic or people, and start walking on the other side. As I get to the corner, I see a cop van parked there. A girl is standing beside it, and they're giving her a ticket. Lots of traffic now - cars and people everywhere. I keep walking past, but they call me back. I debate running, but I head back. They write me a ticket for jaywalking. 79 bucks. I'm pissed.
